Donna D. Maio, Esq., Managing Partner
Donna D. Maio is admitted to practice law in New York State and Federal Courts. She holds BA degree in Education and World Languages & Literature and an MA degree from SUNY, Stony Brook with a concentration in Renaissance Literature. Ms. Maio went on to study at the Graduate level at Harvard University in 1995 before attending Law School where she graduated at the top of her class. Ms. Maio received several academic scholarships, was a Faculty Fellow teaching in the areas of Contract Law, Tort Law, Criminal Law, Civil Procedure and Constitutional Law. Ms. Maio received multiple awards for best legal brief writing, Property Law, Tort Law, and Evidence.
Ms. Maio represents the firm's clients in all facets of litigation and she is the head of the firm's Matrimonial/Divorce/Family Law and Mediation Department. Ms. Maio also handles most of the firm's real estate matters, estate planning, and corporate clients.
Ms. Maio is a member of the New York State Bar Association, American Bar Association, Suffolk County Bar Association, New York City Bar Association, Suffolk County Women's Bar Association, Phi Alpha Delta, Enterprising and Professional Women, and the Huntington Lawyers Club.
In Ms. Maio's spare time, she sings with the band, "Just Cause," comprised of attorneys who play at charity events across New York.
Joseph C. DeJesu, Esq., Partner
Joseph DeJesu graduated from SUNY Stony Brook University with a degree in Sociology before attending Touro Law School where he graduated at the top of his class and received multiple awards.
Mr. DeJesu is admitted to practice law in the State of New York and in Federal Court for the Eastern District.
Mr. DeJesu is the head of the firm's Civil Litigation Department and also focuses on Contract Law. In addition, Mr. DeJesu handles the firm's commercial and residential Landlord/Tenant matters throughout Suffolk, Nassau, and New York counties.
Michael M. Maio, Esq., Of Counsel
Michael Maio graduated with honors from the University of North Carolina with a degree in Political Science. After a successful career as an E-Commerce Developer working in New York City, Mr. Maio was admitted to practice law in New York after graduating from Hofstra Law School.
Mr. Maio is the head of the firm's Estate Planning (Wills and Trusts) Department while he also focuses on Loan Modification, Contract Law and Research.
